DESCRIPTION:VTCPAP\, in partnership with the Perinatal Quality Collaborative Vermont\, present a one-hour virtual training:\nPerinatal Suicide Care\, led by Sarah Nagle-Yang\, MD. \nDATE: Wednesday March 25\, 2026 \nTIME: 12PM – 1PM EST \nVIRTUAL: Zoom (details will be sent to attendees after they register) \nCOST: FREE \nCEU’s: 1.0 (social work\, allied mental health practitioners and psychological examiners) \nWHO IT’S FOR: Perinatal medical and mental health providers. \nThis interactive session offers a practical\, structured approach to responding to positive suicide screens in OB and postpartum care. Through video-based case demonstrations and guided skills practice\, participants will learn to conduct patient-centered suicide risk conversations\, explore intent and distress drivers\, identify modifiable contributors such as sleep deprivation or isolation\, and develop concise\, perinatal-specific safety plans with follow-up steps and available supports.
