DESCRIPTION:The CAMS Community of Practice is an ongoing learning and support network for clinicians who have completed training in the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS). Open to practitioners across disciplines and care settings\, this group offers a space to deepen understanding\, share real-world application strategies\, and build confidence in delivering CAMS-aligned care. \nDr. Kevin Crowley will lead a 90-minute CAMS Community of Practice session focused on supervising clinicians who are implementing the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS) model. This session will provide dedicated space for supervisors and clinical leaders to explore challenges specific to supervision and to build practical skills for supporting high-quality CAMS implementation across teams. \nDr. Crowley will review the CAMS Rating Scale and discuss strategies for using it to promote fidelity and strengthen clinical practice. Youth Mental Health First Aid is primarily designed for adults who regularly interact with young people. Jobes. Participants are encouraged to complete the Foundational Online Training before attending the first Consultation Call. \n2. CAMS Consultation Calls (4 FREE CES AVAILABLE)\nAfter completing the Foundational Online Training clinicians will participate in at least four out of eight CAMS Consultation Calls in order to receive CEs. The consultation calls reinforce learning through case discussions with experienced CAMS consultants. Participants who complete at least four consultation calls will receive a free CAMS source book\, Managing Suicidal Risk: A Collaborative Approach by Dr. David A. SUMMARY:Long-Term Survivors of Suicide Loss Summit
DESCRIPTION:This is the only conference of its kind\, best suited for long-term loss survivors who have found healthy ways to integrate the experience of losing a loved one to suicide into their lives. The conference features workshops\, expert-led discussions\, and social activities exploring how grief evolves over time. \nWhile it can be challenging to define long-term loss survivors solely in terms of time since their loss\, most attendees of this conference will be five or more years beyond the date of their loved one’s suicide. Those suicide loss survivors who have engaged in support groups\, counseling or other coping strategies will learn ways to increase their support\, connect with other long-term loss survivors\, and find ways to further understand their loss as a part of their life’s journey. \nThis Summit is built to create connection and healing among long-term loss survivors.
