SUMMARY:CAMS-BI Role Play Training
DESCRIPTION:CAMS Brief Intervention (CAMS-BI) Role-Play Training was developed to train clinicians to support the use of CAMS as a framework for suicide-specific risk assessment and treatment in rapid healthcare delivery systems (e.g.\, emergency departments\, EmPATH units\, crisis care facilities and psychiatric inpatient units). \nThis training will present research support for the use of CAMS-BI within interdisciplinary treatment teams. DESCRIPTION:The VPQHC CAMS Fall Cohort has two primary elements: \n1. CAMS Foundational Online Video Training (3 CES AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE)\nThe CAMS Foundational Online Training is a 3-hour unscripted clinical demonstration with a patient through the course of 12 sessions of the CAMS Framework\, featuring the creator of CAMS\, Dr. David A. Jobes. Participants are encouraged to complete the Foundational Online Training before attending the first Consultation Call. \n2. CAMS Consultation Calls (4 FREE CES AVAILABLE)\nAfter completing the Foundational Online Training clinicians will participate in at least four out of eight CAMS Consultation Calls in order to receive CEs. The consultation calls reinforce learning through case discussions with experienced CAMS consultants. Participants who complete at least four consultation calls will receive a free CAMS source book\, Managing Suicidal Risk: A Collaborative Approach by Dr. David A.
