DESCRIPTION:Would you give 90 minutes to save a life? NKHS offers QPR introduction to suicide training for adults and caretakers to raise awareness\, dispel myths and misconceptions\, and teach three skills that can help save a life. A QPR trainee will learn to recognize the warning signs of suicide\, how to offer hope\, and how to get help. \nQPR is an emergency response to someone in a suicide crisis just as CPR is an emergency response to a physical health crisis. See the attached Info Flyer for more details. \nWe invite you to register for QPR Suicide Prevention Awareness Training via Zoom. This training is interactive. There is no cost for the training and resource materials for participants thanks to funding from VDH.
