DESCRIPTION:This workshop is designed to provide friends\, family\, and others with information on how to recognize and respond to suicide risk\, with an additional focus on reducing access to lethal means\, especially firearms. The training includes practical strategies\, real-life scenarios\, and tools to help create safer environments for individuals who may be at risk. \n2 continuing education credits approved for Allied Mental Health Practitioners\, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors\, Psychoanalysts\, Psychologists\, and Social Workers.
