SUMMARY:CAMS Community of Practice: CAMS for Supervisors (Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality)
DESCRIPTION:The CAMS Community of Practice is an ongoing learning and support network for clinicians who have completed training in the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS). Open to practitioners across disciplines and care settings\, this group offers a space to deepen understanding\, share real-world application strategies\, and build confidence in delivering CAMS-aligned care. \nDr. Kevin Crowley will lead a 90-minute CAMS Community of Practice session focused on supervising clinicians who are implementing the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS) model. This session will provide dedicated space for supervisors and clinical leaders to explore challenges specific to supervision and to build practical skills for supporting high-quality CAMS implementation across teams. \nDr. Crowley will review the CAMS Rating Scale and discuss strategies for using it to promote fidelity and strengthen clinical practice. Participants will have opportunities to ask questions and receive consultation on supervision-related challenges and complex cases. \nIt is recommended that Community of Practice participants have completed the Foundational Online Video and CAMS Consultation Calls. \n1.5 continuing education credits approved for Allied Mental Health Practitioners\, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors\, Psychoanalysts\, Psychologists\, and Social Workers.
