DESCRIPTION:The AFSP Suicide Bereavement Facilitator Training equips individuals with the knowledge and tools to create and lead effective support groups for those grieving a suicide loss. Designed for both new and experienced facilitators\, this program supports the development of compassionate\, safe\, and informed group environments. \nTrainings are conducted virtually over three days and are limited to 50 participants to allow for meaningful interaction. Each session features expert-led lectures\, interactive discussions\, and role-playing exercises to provide practical\, hands-on experience. Because of the interactive nature of the training\, participants are required to keep cameras on and remain fully engaged throughout. \nDate: August 7th\, 8th\, and 9th\, 2025. Each day is required.\nTime: 10 am – 2 pm ET each day\nLocation: Virtual- a Zoom link will be provided closer to the training date

There is help from others who\, like you\, have experienced this tragedy. We want to help you recover and\, most of all\, we want you to know that you are not alone. \nThis support group is open to all family members and friends of a loved one who has died by suicide. People of all ages\, occupations\, and religious affiliations are welcome. There is no fee\, and you are welcome to attend as often as you would like.
