SUMMARY:CAMS 4-Teens Live Online Fall Training
DESCRIPTION:CAMS-4Teens™ was developed to train clinicians on how to adapt and implement the CAMS Framework® and the Suicide Status Form (SSF) for youth ages 12 and older. The training also provides updated information on the nature\, epidemiology\, and prevention of youth suicide\, including a specific focus on reducing access to lethal means and how to work within and across systems of care. \nParticipants must complete the CAMS Foundational Online Video and commit to attending four CAMS Consultation Calls before being assigned to this training. \n4 CEs available for purchase through CAMS upon completion of training. \nLocation: Remote. \nWho should attend? This training is designed for clinicians who are already trained in the core CAMS model and are looking to apply it in work with adolescents. It is ideal for mental health providers in schools\, pediatric and primary care settings\, emergency departments\, and community-based programs who serve youth at risk of suicide and are ready to tailor CAMS for use with this population. \nPlease reach out to Charlotte Lyman (charlottel@vpqhc.org) with any questions about this training
