ASIST Training – South Burlington

Join us for a free, two-day ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) in South Burlington.
ASIST is the world’s most widely used suicide intervention skills training, developed by LivingWorks and used by more than 2 million people worldwide. It teaches a practical, evidence-based framework for recognizing when someone may be having thoughts of suicide, talking with them directly, and building an immediate safety plan together.
This session is led by certified ASIST trainers Meagan MacGregor and Mark Margolis.
Typical costs are $250–$500 per person. It is offered here at no cost, including all training materials. Coffee and lunch will be provided during the training.
Anyone 16 or older who wants to be ready to help is welcome — clinicians, crisis workers, teachers, faith and community leaders, first responders, parents, and any caring community member. No clinical background is required.
Seats are limited to 30 and available first come, first served. Both days must be attended.
