Conversations About Suicide

Under funding from the Department of Mental Health as part of the Suicide Activities grant, Pathways Vermont is offering a Conversations About Suicide (CAS) course for mental health providers at no cost. This includes clinicians, therapists, and case managers working at Designated Agencies, Specialized Services Agencies, and Primary Care settings. Peer Support providers are encouraged to take the course through Vermont’s Peer Workforce Development Initiative.
Conversations About Suicide is a participatory workshop where attendees explore ways to practice empathy and prioritize autonomy, unpack the language of pain and consider ways to support folks who are thinking about dying. It is a great complement to other suicide prevention and suicide care trainings in the health care system.
This is the last 2025 offering of Conversations About Suicide specifically for MH providers, with:
Two four-hour training sessions
*All sessions will be held via Zoom
