This interactive session offers a practical, structured approach to responding to positive suicide screens in OB and postpartum care. Through video-based case demonstrations and guided skills practice, participants will learn to conduct patient-centered suicide risk conversations, explore intent and distress drivers, identify modifiable contributors such as sleep deprivation or isolation, and develop concise, perinatal-specific safety plans with follow-up steps and available supports.
