Virtual Adult Mental Health First Aid

Sunshine Silver Lining invites you to register for a virtual Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course.
These free, grant-funded trainings are open to Vermonters and those who serve and support Vermonters through generous support from Vermont Care Partners (VCP). Each class has limited space (30 participants).
In many communities, MHFA certification costs $100–$200. Through VCP funding, you can earn your three-year certification at no cost.
The goal of MHFA is to build empowered, connected communities by helping people recognize signs of mental health challenges and respond effectively. You’ll learn a five-step action plan to offer support, encourage professional help, and connect individuals to community resources.
This training is brought to you by generous funding through Vermont Care Partners (VCP) Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) grant funds. Current grants include The Vermont Department of Health’s Garrett Lee Smith grant, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Mental Health Awareness Training grant, and the Vermont Department of Mental Health AWARE grant.
