The Stanley Brown Safety Planning Intervention (SPI) is a brief, evidence-based approach designed to reduce suicide risk by helping individuals recognize warning signs, build coping strategies, and identify sources of support.

This free training offers an overview of the Stanley Brown SPI tool and provides hands-on practice to help participants build confidence in using the intervention with people experiencing suicidal thoughts or behaviors.

Participants will learn how to understand the structure and components of the Stanley Brown SPI form and practice administering SPI through interactive role-play exercises.

2 continuing education credits approved for Allied Mental Health Practitioners, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors, Psychoanalysts, Psychologists, and Social Workers.
